I have no idea why my mum and dad called this French Toast 🤣 I got very rude when I went overseas for the first time on a work trip, got excited to see it on the menu and then was completely gobsmacked when a cinnamony sweet brioche with berries was laid in front of me.
I have since learned that I was duped and everyone calls it Egg on Bread or Toad in a Hole etc.
