Jamie Oliver’s 3-ingredient dough
Jamie Oliver’s 3-ingredient dough is literally my go-to for all dough. You can make anything with it and I prefer this over the 2 ingredient dough for one reason only. It’s so fluffy and light! The addition of baking powder just takes it to the next level.
The beauty of the 3-ingredient dough is that you can make naan, or puri, or bread. You can bake it, fry it, grill it on the griddle. It’s the BEST and easiest dough recipe ever!
Jamie Oliver’s 3-ingredient dough:
You will need:
350g self raising flour
350g full cream yoghurt (start with 250g and increase as needed for a soft dough)
1 tsp baking powder
Method:
Knead well and use some flour if you need to when rolling it out. Make into six balls and roll into whatever shape you want. Don’t go too thin, you want it to be a little thicker than a roti.
Heat your griddle pan on a medium high heat then put your flat bread onto the dry pan. Watch how awesome it gets some nice air bubbles and nice griddle lines. Then turn over.
You can then brush it with some melted garlic butter. I even tossed over some toasted sesame seeds, it was like rogni naan!
Do it for all the breads.
Enjoy with your Meditteranean veg loaded hummus.
