Green Chutney – Fehmz
This is just a gemors of things we put into our green chutney, my mum always made it fresh. we would keep it in the freezer and take out quantities as it only lasts about 2 weeks in the fridge but it’s really the yummiest! We love it!
2 bunches dhania
2 green peppers (or 1 if you don’t have 2)
2 medium/large apples (golden delicious with peel or if you have red apples then just peel them and put it in there)
1 bunch mint
Salt to taste
10-15 green chillies (depending on your heat level)
3 tsp crushed garlic or 3 garlic cloves
2 tblsp peanut butter (i used a little more but it depends on you)
50ml canola oil
50ml water (or a bit a more if you need)
3 tblsp vinegar
Chuck it all into a blender and whizz it up. Pour into your @consolglass jars (coz let’s be honest they are the cutest!), you can freeze most and keep some in a jar in the fridge. We eat it fresh and defrost as we need. It’s delicious!
