Fried stuffed pasta
After those crispy pasta chip jawbreakers…I was sent a video showing me this fried stuffed pasta and I had to try it!
So I used those huge pasta shells, boiled them, stuffed them with a chilli chicken in white sauce, closed it, coated and fried it. Watch it here
This was a job to do but really so worth it! We thoroughly enjoyed it ??
Chicken:
Sauté 300g chopped chicken with a tablespoon of ghee, some garlic, green chilli, salt and pepper.
Add it to a thick white sauce (see my recipe on a previous video and add an extra heaped tblsp of flour)
Let it cool completely.
Fill into your shells so that the shell can still close over each other a little. Then coat it in flour, egg and seasoned breadcrumbs, then repeat the egg and breadcrumbs step again.
Fry in medium oil until golden brown, cover in freshly grated Parmesan and serve as is.
If you wanna be extra you can make a tomato sauce to serve it on but we enjoyed it as is.
