Fried chicken by @fehmz (inspired by @thegoldenbalance)
Just out here telling you to make this fried chicken roll…stat!
I toasted a Woolies brioche roll and I may never go back from this ? also a light coleslaw, good hot sauce and Mayo. Watch me make it here
For 500g of chicken fillet – butterflied and tenderised
80ml hot sauce (I used the one from @sugar_n_ice_by_rae)
1 tsp chilli powder or paprika
Marinate your chicken for at least 1 hour (or overnight)
Season your flour with salt, pepper and garlic flakes.
Add your marinated chicken plus the extra marinade into the flour and coat well (don’t turn it into a batter), you just want your chicken to be coated in flour but clumpy.
Fry in preheated oil at 170deg C until golden brown.
Butter the inside of a brioche roll and toast on a fry pan, smear with Mayo, layer with some lightly dressed coleslaw, your chicken, a drizzle of hot sauce and more mayo.
Prepare to be addicted ??
