Epic Butter Chicken
Blend it all. Strain through a sieve.
Epic Butter Chicken – recipe by @Fehmz
In a blender add:
1 tin coconut milk (or coconut cream)
Half tsp crushed cumin
Half tsp crushed coriander
Half tsp turmeric
Half tsp yellow food colouring
Half tsp salt
1 green chilli
1 tsp red chilli powder – optional
Handful of raw cashews (or 2 tblsp cashew nut butter)
1 clove garlic
1 full tsp maizena
Blend it all. Strain through a sieve.
Add 2 tblsp ghee to your pot. Add your blended mixture. Slice 500g chicken fillets at an angle like the Indian restaurants.
Cook until done and thick. Add more salt to taste
Take a small silver dish or piece of foil and add to your pot, heat a piece of shisha coal and place into the dish/foil inside the pot. (the coal must not touch your sauce)
Add 2-3 drops of oil to the coal then close your lid.
Let it simmer for 5 mins.
Serve with freshly made naan bread (use 3-ingredient dough)
