Dump Cake

Who would have thought something called Dump Cake could really be so easy and so tasty. This turned out more like pudding but you will literally dump your cake when making this. hahaha (Watch here)

You will need:
1 tin pitted cherries
1 tin pineapple chunks (or 1.5 cups frozen berries)
1 box cake mix
125g butter cut into chunks (melt 4 of the chunks)
I added: Half a cup of flaked almonds, trust me on this.
Preheat your oven to 180 deg C.
So now we start dumping! In a greased baking pan add your tinned fruit, then sprinkle your cake mix (I used the BettyCrocker vanilla cake) and place your butter cubes on top, pour melted butter randomly so it looks like you know what you are doing, then liberally throw over the flaked almonds. Add more if you love almonds.
Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown. Remove and serve warm with a scoop of ice cream.

Variations: Essentially you can use any 2 cans of fruit, peaches, pines, whatever. And likewise with the cake mix, you can do a black forest dump cake and use cherries with choc cake mix. It’s literally an anything goes kinda recipe.
