The perfect dessert for the chilly weekend we are having!
Sliced and buttered.
Place into an oven proof dish.
In a bowl add:
500ml fresh cream
1 cup castor sugar
1 tsp vanilla essence
Pinch of ground cardamom
Whisk and pour over the croissants.
Sprinkle over chopped pecans, and some cinnamon mixed with brown sugar.
Bake in a 180degC preheated oven for 25-30mins until golden brown.
Once out, drizzle with salted caramel (I get mine from @thewhimsicalwhisk )
Serve warm with a scoop of ice cream or custard/creme anglaise.
