Everyone has their own way of making tea, this is how my momma taught me. Watch here
You can use a 2:1 or 1:1 ratio if you like more milk but essentially:
Start with the first boil, you want to boil your water with tea leaves or tea bags (loose is best but teabags work and I go for Joko)
Then add your milk (optional extra: Luna/Rainbow Milk)
Bring to a boil again, stir slowly, methodically, enjoy the process. Press the back of your spoon on to your tea bags to release more flavour.
Sweeten with sugar or condensed milk.
Boil until it reaches your desired colouration, I love a light caramel colour, thereafter pour into your tea cups or glasses.
Enjoy!
Variations: add a small stalk of lemongrass when boiling, or a pinch of tea masala
